CreArte is an ongoing series of microfunding dinners celebrating community projects in Bologna, Italy (organized by volunteers). The project follows the "Sunday Soup" model. At each event, attendees make a donation for a meal and get an opportunity to vote for their favorite project proposal. At the end of the night, the project that gathers the most votes is awarded the grant comprised of the donations collected that night. The project proposal aims to benefit the city of Bologna, and can range from art, to social entrepreneurs to education and more. These events present an opportunity to converse with the artists, share resources, enjoy art and stimulate discussion about innovative projects in Bologna.
